Gharchola is a traditional textile from Gujarat, deeply rooted in Indian culture and often associated with weddings and festive occasions. It is known for its distinctive checked (grid) pattern, symbolizing prosperity and auspiciousness.

Typically crafted on silk or cotton base, Gharchola features tie-dye techniques combined with zari or woven motifs such as elephants, peacocks, and floral elements. The fabric is then divided into small squares, each carrying intricate designs.
